GST and Demonetisation

We were talking about Rahul Gandhi. He is really working and now his work also shows. But with too weak intensity. As we all know he belongs to a royal family. He has hardly seen any hardships of life. It was only after his father’s unexpected and untimely death, he came into limelight. He still doesn’t understands the basic necessities and the basic conflicts a common man goes through each and every day. The ground root challenges and their solutions! And also he is new to the wicked political practices! So, he still has to understand and analyse the things from his changing point of view.

Now, there left no leader whom you can bet on (against PM Modi). He only of course. And why not him? He is witty, diplomat and above all very sincere. May be you are thinking about Demonetisation and GST! Here I would like to tell you a story.

There was a family comprising all members as in a usual family. But some practises and customs were such that the family was on the verge of collapse. At that time, their son got married and daughter-in-law stepped in their home. Now, this new bride when saw the condition of the family and its members, she decided to bring about revolutionary changes. She set hard rules and made equally hard reforms to rejuvenate the members. But her this move though really encouraging was not accepted by the family members. They abide by their usual stupid beliefs and did want to change. In-spite that the intense desire was anyhow these bad times are reverted.

On the other hand the new bride was committed to the welfare of her own new family. Unfortunately, she could not read their minds! And ultimately what happened? They threw her out of their house.  Now, the situation was more drastic. The family members knew they were on the wrong path. But do not want to change. They were now more helpless. And she was finding her fault! May be she was too rash to change everything! Had she tried to change the mind set of family members, took them into confidence and then with their consent implemented the reforms, things would have been altogether different. But can anybody doubt the new bride’s intentions? NO, NO!Compare this story to present situation of India. GST and Demonetisation are those harsh reforms. And the new bride can be related to …….?? You understood very well.

But the big question here is why we do not want to change when we really desire a big change in the country?
